General information about our positions
Please note that this is only a small selection of our available positions and the positions change weekly. Once you have sent us your application form, we can tell you exactly what positions we have that would suit you. In addition, we also have dozens of positions through our partner agencies.
Please note that you must either be an EU passport holder or have a visa for the country you wish to work in to apply for our positions! We cannot help with the visa process for non-EU nationals.
Nanny positions available
NANNY TO SWITZERLAND
Location: In Canton Zurich, Switzerland, near the lake, public transportation, and services
Hours: Either part-time 25 hours or full-time 42 hours per week
Gross salary: Up to 5 800 CHF (6 180 €) gross per month for an experienced nanny working full time
Start date: by 31 October 2026
Duration: Long term, a minimum of 2 years
Language skills: Good German or Swiss German; if fluent Italian or French, then basic German is adequate
Driving licence: Ideally yes, but not mandatory
Age of children: 1, 5, and 8 years
Accommodation: Live out – but can provide live-in accommodation at the beginning to help if the nanny is relocating
Description: A multilingual (German, French, Italian) family living in Canton Zurich. They are looking for a live-out nanny for their three children who attend nursery and school full time.
Your working hours could be either part time in the afternoons (3 pm to 7 or 8 pm) or full time, up to 42 hours per week, Mon-Fri. The family usually does not require any weekend hours, but it would be ideal if the nanny were flexible regarding occasional weekend babysitting.
Your duties include picking up children from school and nursery, taking them to activities, supervising homework, organising activities and playing with children, and helping with dinner and bath time. If you choose full-time hours, the additional hours without the children would include light household tasks, such as cooking or tidying/cleaning the house. The family employs a cleaner for the heavy cleaning duties.
The ideal nanny for this family works proactively and independently, has high energy and lots of ideas for children’s activities, has experience with both toddlers and school-aged children, and speaks good German or Swiss German (or if fluent in French or Italian, speaks at least basic German).
